Back in 2004, Ireti Ajala (STL's CEO) visited New York and was impressed about the use of a particular online street map in generating a driving directionfrom from his hotel to a Brazilian restaurant in Queens. Ireti thought it would be a good idea to develop a similar online map portal in Nigeria where Nigerians can search for any streets, business by name or get turn-by-turn driving direction across 2 points. This lead to the development of www.mapntl.com in 2007

LagosLocation.com also provides a range of complementary services through its parent company STL and its partners. GIS Solution, mapping, Enterprise GIS integration.   We're a tiny outfit but we've got big ambitions and plan to launch the service in other Nigerian cities as soon as we can.  There are also all sorts of improvements we'd love to make when resources allow.
