12. Hotel Booking
a). LagosLocation.com has the right to cancel your booking within 48
hours after booking time. In case of
cancellation by LagosLocation.com, LagosLocation.com will attempt to
offer you a similar hotel accommodation
in the same quality and price classification, but shall not be held
liable should it fail to do so.
b). Your reservation is made directly with the hotel you have
chosen. By confirming your reservation with
LagosLocation.com you are entering into a contract with the hotel.
c). Unless otherwise stated in the room description (for example in
case of Special Deals, Hot Deals,
Advanced bookings etc.), you are required to make an upfront
commitment payment representing a specific
percentage of the total hotel room booking cost. You must make this
commitment payment upfront before
your booking can be confirmed. The value would be worked out and
included in your booking details to be sent
to you via email. This commitment would be deducted from the total
cost of booking a room.
The rest of the payment must be made directly at the hotel during
the check-in procedure. Unless otherwise
stated on the webpage, your account must be settled at the hotel in
cash, with your ATM card, debit or
credit card, provided the ATM, debit or credit card type is accepted
by the hotel.
d) All reservations made through LagosLocation.com will be issued
with a reservation reference. These
details will be provided in the e-mail confirmation of your
reservation. The booking reference is your
reservation number with LagosLocation.com, please use this
reservation number in all correspondence
with LagosLocation.com. In case you have lost this detail, you can
contact us at: info@LagosLocation.com.
You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of these numbers
and for securing access to your
booking.
e) If however you need
the hotel to send you a formal document of your hotel booking
towards your
Nigerian visa application, then you MUST make a guaranteed booking.
A guaranteed booking
means you pay the full cost of the hotel room booking upfront.
The hotel would not send you any formal document unless it is a
guaranteed booking.
On the receipt of the full hotel booking cost, the hotel would issue
a receipt covering the period you
have paid. This receipt could be scanned and sent to you by email
attachment towards your Nigerian
VISA application.
PLEASE BE INFORMED THAT A GUARANTEED BOOKING IS DIFFERENT FROM A
COMMITMENT PAYMENT.
f) By using LagosLocation.com to book your hotel, you are actually
entering into an agreement with the hotel.
Should you wish to cancel your reservation with LagosLocation.com,
please note that this is subject to the
cancellation policy of your chosen hotel.
To inform us of your cancellation, you would need to forward the
hotel reservation email sent to you to
info@lagoslocation.com and remember to include the reason for the
cancellation in the email.
Cancellations made within the time limit given by the hotel (in most
cases 48 hours prior to date of arrival)
will be free of charge and is liable to receive a FULL value of the
commitment payment.
Please take into account that date of arrival starts at 0:00 AM
(Nigerian Time). If you cancel beyond the
cancellation deadline or do not arrive at the hotel, then you
forfeit the commitment fee.
g) If you are
requesting for a refund of an upfront payment originally received in
our Nigerian
bank account and subject to our booking cancellation policy, a
refund payment would be
made ONLY via a certified bank check. WE DO NOT MAKE CASH PAYMENT
FOR REFUNDS.
Please be informed that we have no control over the period it takes
your bank to clear
the check and process the payment. Payment by certified Bank check
is important to
LagosLocation.com to create an audit trail as evidence of payment.
It is therefore your responsibility to ensure that your bank account
can receive a payment by
certified Bank check.
All payments originally received via PayPal would be refunded via
PayPal
h) In the event that the hotel had issued you a receipt for your
hotel booking required for the processing of
your Nigerian visa application or for any other legal process,
should you decide to cancel your booking at this
stage, this would imply that your actual intention for the hotel
booking was for the purpose of deceiving
the hotel into assisting you in your visa application. The hotel
would be seen to have rendered a legal
service for your benefit and your total upfront payment would be
used to defray the administrative cost
for providing you this service.
i). All hotels utilize their own booking and reservations systems.
When you arrive at the hotel, the guest
name (the name which is stated on the Reservation Form) will be your
reference at the hotel. The hotel room
will be reserved under the name that was specified on the
reservation form at the time of making the booking.
j). Room rate quotations given at the time of securing your booking
on LagosLocation.com is the price which
you will pay for your accommodation. Be aware other charges may
apply to the booking, which can vary per
destination or accommodation. These extra charges can be found in
the descriptions of the accommodations.
You shall also pay in full for any additional services that the
hotel provides, which are not explicitly
covered by the quoted LagosLocation.com roomrate. (e.g. Room
service, minibar use etc.)Prices for hotels
rooms are confirmed in the local currency of the country you are
booking in.
k). Special requests such as those entered into the Remark/Request
box at the time of making your booking,
will be delivered to the hotel, however neither the hotel nor
LagosLocation.com shall be held liable should
the hotel fail to accommodate such requests.
l). LagosLocation.com sells accommodation from an inventory supplied
by each hotel, and does not over-sell
that inventory. LagosLocation.com does not accept any liability for
unavailability of rooms caused by the
hotel overselling its own room inventory.
m). The LagosLocation.com website has been compiled with great care.
However, our services are based on
information provided by the hotels and for this reason the hotels
remain responsible for the accuracy of this
information. LagosLocation.com cannot guarantee that all the
information, including pictures or descriptions,
are fully accurate at all times, nor can we be held responsible for
any errors or inaccuracies in the supplied
information or if your trip is deficient. In particular we have no
liability for any loss, personal injury or
death, however incurred, unless such loss is caused by our
negligence.
n). This website is for legitimate personal hotel price comparison
and bookings.
o). All content included on this site and the arrangement and
compilation of this content and infrastructure
used to provide such content are intellectual property and
copyrighted work of LagosLocation.com and its suppliers
and protected by copyright laws.
